About Everloop

We think the throwaway cup has had its day

Australians go through billions of single-use coffee cups a year, and almost none are recycled. Everloop exists to make the easy choice the reusable one — for the person grabbing a flat white, the café serving it, and the city clearing the bins.

Our story

It started at a Sydney coffee cart

Everloop began in 2024 with a simple observation outside a busy Surry Hills café: a steady stream of beautifully made coffees, every one in a cup destined for landfill minutes later.

We knew reusable cups already existed — the problem was never the cup, it was the system. People forget to bring their own. Cafés do not want to run a dishwashing operation. Returnables only work if you can give them back anywhere, not just where you got them.

So we built the loop instead of another cup. A shared pool of durable containers, a return network that spans a whole neighbourhood, and the washing and logistics handled behind the scenes. Borrow, return, repeat — no thinking required.

Today we are a small Sydney team working with cafés, brands and councils to prove that takeaway does not have to mean throwaway.

Our mission

To make reuse the effortless default for takeaway — and to keep millions of single-use containers in circulation instead of landfill.

Make it easy

If reuse is not effortless, it does not scale. Convenience is a feature, not an afterthought.

Measure honestly

We report net impact, methodology and all — no greenwashing, no rounded-up claims.

Build together

Cafés, customers and councils all share the loop. It only works when it works for everyone.

Stay local

Short loops, local wash hubs and neighbourhood return points keep impact and emissions low.
