Everything you wanted to ask about reuse

Everloop is a shared system of reusable cups and containers you borrow for your takeaway and return at any partner point — we collect, wash and recirculate them so nothing gets thrown away.

Just order your drink at a participating café and ask for it in an Everloop. At app-enabled venues you scan a QR code to start a loan; at deposit venues you pay a small refundable deposit. There's no extra charge to use one.

At any return point in the network — not only where you borrowed it. Find your nearest on the return locations page or in the app. Drop it in the bin or scan to close your loan.

Up to 14 days. After that a replacement fee may apply (or your deposit is kept) to cover putting a new container into circulation. Return it and you're square again.

No. The app makes finding return points and tracking your impact easier, but deposit-based venues work with no app at all. The app launches in 2026 — join the waitlist.

At deposit venues you pay a small, fully refundable deposit per container, returned to you when you bring it back. App users can loan without an upfront deposit. Exact amounts are shown before you borrow.

Return the container at any partner point and your deposit is released — instantly in-app, or refunded at the counter at deposit venues.

No drama. If it's not returned within 14 days, the deposit covers a replacement (or a small fee applies for app loans). Found it later? Pop it back and contact support.

Yes. Every container is washed in commercial dishwashers at high temperature, sanitised and individually quality-checked before it goes back out — cleaned to the same standards a restaurant uses for its own crockery, designed to meet Australian food-contact requirements.

Food-safe, BPA-free polypropylene — light, durable and dishwasher-rated for hundreds of cycles. When a container reaches the end of its life it's retired and recycled.

During quality checks, any container with cracks or heavy wear is pulled from circulation and sent for recycling, so only good-condition items reach customers.

Never. Everloop collects used containers, washes them at our hub and returns clean stock to you. You hand them out and put returns in a bin we empty — that's it.

Most cafés are up and running within a couple of weeks of signing off a plan — we deliver stock, bins and signage, and brief your team. Events are scoped to their date.
