Everloop Pty Ltd ("Everloop", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information, and how we comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

By using our website, app or services, or by contacting us, you agree to the handling of your personal information as described here.

2. What information we collect

We only collect information that is reasonably necessary for our functions and activities. This may include:

Contact details — your name, email address, phone number and business name when you fill in a form, join our waitlist, subscribe to our newsletter or contact us.
Account and usage data — if you use the Everloop app, information about loans, returns and your reuse activity.
Partner information — details about your café, venue, event or organisation when you enquire about partnering with us.
Technical data — your device, browser and general location, and how you interact with our website, collected through cookies and analytics.

You do not have to identify yourself for general browsing, but we may not be able to provide certain services without the information requested.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

respond to your enquiries and provide our services;
manage waitlist sign-ups, newsletters and partner relationships;
operate, support and improve the Everloop loop and app;
produce aggregated, de-identified impact reporting; and
meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We will only use your information for direct marketing where you would reasonably expect it or have consented, and every marketing message includes an unsubscribe option.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose it to:

Partner venues, only where necessary to deliver a service you have requested; and

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences and understand how the site is used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended. Where we use third-party analytics, data is handled under those providers' terms.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you by emailing privacy@everloop.green. We will respond within a reasonable period. If we decline a request, we will explain why.

9. Complaints

If you believe we have breached the APPs, please contact us first so we can investigate. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

10. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 15, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page with its "last updated" date.
